Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine
Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) is a specific natural holistic approach to animal health that has been practiced for thousands of years. TCVM focuses on regaining and/or maintaining balance within the body and between the body and the environment. It is very individualized, specific and can achieve some powerful results.
The goal of TCVM is to either prevent imbalance before it starts, or to balance when the body is out of balance. Imbalance = disease or symptoms. Balance = Eating well. Balance = Feeling well. Balance = Living well. So, how do we balance?
Balanced Wellness
TCVM therapies such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy and Tui Na (Massage therapy) are more natural therapies with minimal to no side effects that are recommended according to your pet’s constitution and/or patterns of imbalance. We try to use minimal therapies for maximal benefit.
All pets can benefit from TCVM. The simple act of balancing can keep a young pet healthy, add extra zest to a middle aged pet, and give years of health for older pets. We can even add extra time feeling their best in the case of terminal disease and cancer. We can help them eat better, feel better and live better. Naturally.
